EU Publishes the New End-of-Life Vehicle Regulation (EU) 2026/1738
The European Union published Regulation (EU) 2026/1738 on 24 July 2026. The new regulation will replace and repeal Directive 2000/53/EC on end-of-life vehicles and Directive 2005/64/EC on the type-approval of motor vehicles with regard to their reusability, recyclability and recoverability.
